About WasserCluster Lunz

WasserCluster Lunz is a nonprofit research center shared to equal amounts by the University of Vienna, the Danube University Krems, and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU Vienna). The research center is financially supported by the Provincial Government of Lower Austria and the Municipality of Vienna.

Research

WasserCluster Lunz pursues basic and applied research on aquatic ecosystems. Our researchers work at the highest level on current questions of aquatic ecosystem research, such as questions of climate change, diversity research, water resource management or renaturation of waters.

Education

WasserCluster Lunz pursues university and postgraduate training at an international level and accomplishes education-cooperation-projects and pedagogic outdoor activities on a regional level.
